KIPPAGE: Fun Facts & Useless Information 13: Many Miles to Go

Traveling:

It is estimated that the average human being in their lifetime of walking, walks equivalent to that of walking around the world three times.

In traveling by vehicle, boat, airplane, or other means of transportation, the average human being in their lifetime, travels the equivalent of going around the world fifty seven times.

If you were to start walking around the Earth when you were born, you would finish the trip when you reached the age of 23.

Car sickness is not as severe in a good amount of cases as either air, or sea sickness is, and is thought by some medical professionals to be caused by dehydration rather than the middle ear getting sloshed around inside your head when you get seasick, or airsick.

Our cars and other gas using machines would run better, and cheaper on hydrogen, and it would be beneficial to the environment, not to mention our wallets.

The Land of Morpheus:

Sleep, that mysterious, wonderful, restful state that just about all of us experience.

We have all heard that we spend one third of our lives sleeping, what goes on in that part of our existence? Is it just merely the body resting, or perhaps something a little more…

Somnambulism, Sleepwalking…

Many people experience this, and are not aware of it, until told so, or are accidentally awakened from it. It is theorized that one of the reasons for a sleepwalker to do what they do, is because of a regression to a past life, and that personality from another life, does not realize that it’s time on Earth has expired, and it is locked into a part of the present personalities subconscious, emerging when the present personality is, for lack of a better term, away, or suppressed. During hypnotic regression, these individuals (Somnambulists) sometimes have several different personalities emerge, and some speak in languages foreign to the country they are in, and do not speak those languages in waking life… Twilight Zone take me away.

OOBEs, or Out of body experiences:

Scores of people have spoken about their trips out of their body, many cases have been documented, and thousands of experiments have been conducted on this matter.

A lot of people have had the experience of when they start to fall asleep, they feel like they are falling, and jerk themselves awake. This, according to practitioners of leaving the body on purpose, by causing themselves to have an OOBE, is that the feeling of falling is the stepping off point to an out of body experience. Once you can relax into this feeling of falling without being frightened, you can venture out of your body, and meet ascended masters who will teach you secrets that we as mere human beings are unable to understand while in corporeal form.

Many other cultures use OOBEs to heal themselves, spy on whoever they want to spy on, influence people’s thoughts, and the list goes on. Should men stare at goats?

I Dream of Many Things:

Every intelligent creature dreams, humans, cats, dogs, birds, anything with two brain cells dreams, maybe not Amoebas, but, who knows for sure.

When you enter the REM state, rapid eye movement, your body outside of the automatic functions, is completely paralyzed, Somnambulists are not immobilized because they are not in a REM state, but in a semi-waking mode.

Some people dream in color, others do not, why this is, has not been clearly understood. Some scientist’s hypothesize that it is due to I.Q, level. Those that dream in color, usually report of being able to experience all five senses, sometimes a sixth, and seventh sense too, the experience of which are very difficult to explain in words, but easily accepted while in the REM state.

You can dream of what you want to, by studying texts that teaches one how to program their dreams, there are many books on the subject out there.

Dreaming of future events has happened to a good amount of people. Some dreams are warnings, some are of great things to come, and some are everyday things which we know we’ve seen this somewhere before, and come to call it Déjà vu, that is, we dreamed it, forgot it, and then viola, here it is in front of us, and we don’t remember having dreamed about it.

Why Don’t We Remember a Lot of Our Dreams?

The bridge between subconscious, and consciousness draws up just about every time we cross over it and memories from both sides are left on the opposite banks. That is why we accept so readily what happens in our dreams, but, when we awaken, our conscious reasoning does not allow anything that does not fit into this three dimensional reality we are in, from the ultra dimensional dream universe. We are told from the time we are knee high and impressionable “There is no such thing, You cannot do that, It is impossible”, thus we are programmed not to remember as much of our dreams as we could have. However, again, there are many books out there on this subject to study that will offer help in one’s endeavor to accomplish such feats, and keep that bridge down and open. If a person could fully access their subconscious, the amazing things one could do, would in a lot of cases, be uncontrollable without proper training. But fun!!!

Talk to the Animals.

How do animals communicate with each other without seemingly making any kind of sound, or gesture, and yet they seem to be on the same channel mentally?

One Shaman whom I knew in my youth, said that to be able to talk to the animals, you need to get into their minds, and have them see you as one of them. Become one of them, and then you will understand how they communicate with each other. He said that once you become one of them, just with thought, you can understand them, and they can understand you. He showed our Boy Scout troop how to walk out into a stream, using this method of the mind, and pick up a fish out of the water. All of us tried, but of course, couldn’t do it. He said, that before you can do anything of this sort, you must first empty all of what has been put into your mind, and access the ithrr. By doing this, you can become one with the universe, and begin to learn the ways of God. He spoke of God as not being a fatherly figure in a flowing robe on a throne, but that God was everything around us, and beyond. He pointed at the sky one night after dark while he was with our troop on a camping trip, and asked us what is that? We said, why it’s space, he said, space is only a word that we put on it for a point of reference, what is it really? I’ve been pondering that ever since.

And that concludes FFUI #13

As always, I make no claim to being the author, liar, insane asylum escapee, or purveyor, or making any monies, or claims to above nonsense, and sensible reasons. This FFUI series that I have been submitting to HCC, is for pure entertainment purposes only, and hopefully will bring a smile of wonderment to at least one person who reads them.

Goodnight Captain Kirk Wherever you are!

  1. Seriously, about the speculation that car-nausea or ship-sickness is caused by dehydration: When I'm dehydrated I sometime feel a twinge of nausea, so I always drink a sip of water at such a time, and it doesn't bother me any more.
And when I'm really thirsty I sometimes get the repetitive sneezes, and a sip of water dispels that. It's rare, but when it happens it's nasty: you always expect to stop sneezing after one or two of them, and by the time the fifth repetitive sneeze comes through, I feel like I'm either dying or I might be relieved if I did. 5 sneezes in a row, obligatorily, is no picnic.

Animals have their own methods of communicating (for instance, waterfowls with long limber necks do the 'head-ducking' gesture in various ways, to communicate... (well I haven't figured out just what...)

Space is whatever it looks like it is.
    (See?)
